2021 AP All American Football Team

This is an article compiled by FootballTerms about 2021 ap all american football team updated latest and most complete

2021 ap all American football team: The Associated Press (AP) on Monday released its 2021 All-America team, which features first-team players from seven conferences and 21 schools.

The All-America team came just days after Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was named the AP’s college football player of the year, giving the Crimson Tide their second straight win, after DeVonta Smith took home the honor last year. Both Young and Smith also took home the Heisman Trophy.

Unsurprisingly, Young was also named to the AP’s All-America team on Monday. He was one of three Alabama players to be called a first-team All-American. Ohio State led all schools in the All-America count, placing eight players on the three teams combined.

The AP All-America team recognizes 27 players as first-team honorees, 27 second-team honorees, and 27 third-team honorees. The count increased year-over-year from 25, as the Associated Press recently announced it would increase its All-America team by one wide receiver and one defensive back to more effectively reflect the game’s evolution.

Here’s a look at all three AP All-American football teams in 2021.
