Al Hilal SFC ready to pay Messi £350M a year

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano said that Al Hilal hopes to sign Lionel Messi as his contract with Paris Saint Germain (PSG) expires in just over two months.

On Twitter, Fabrizio Romano wrote: “Al Hilal has officially submitted an offer to Lionel Messi worth over 400 million euros per year. However, there is a possibility that El Pulga will continue to stay in Europe. Barcelona is waiting to resolve financial fair play issues before starting negotiations with the player.”

According to Fabrizio Romano, Messi has not accepted PSG’s contract extension offer because he wants to ensure his sporting future.

In the face of continuous PSG fan protests, Messi has even more reason to leave the club he has been with for two seasons but has not achieved any significant results. In both seasons, PSG were eliminated from the Champions League in the round of 16.

Notably, Al Hilal’s proposed salary is 10 times Messi’s current income at PSG (40 million euros per year) and twice what C. Ronaldo receives at Al Nassr. Earlier this year, the Portuguese superstar signed with Al Nassr for a salary of 200 million euros per year (including salary, bonuses, and image rights fees).

According to Saudi Arabian media, this is the second time Al Hilal has approached Messi. However, they have not yet received a response from the number 30 superstar. El Pulga is said to want to win another Champions League title before retiring.

In addition to Barcelona and Al Hilal, Messi has also been rumored to be moving to David Beckham’s Inter Miami. However, at this time, he has not made any decisions about his future.
